Two Dreams designers have developed a mini
While the movie SOS Ghosts: the inheritance (Ghostbusters: Afterlife) will be broadcast in rooms on November 10, Media Molecule and Sony Pictures have proposed two developers from the Dreams community to design a game using the famous ghost hunter license.
Under the gaze of the film team, Media Molecule unveils an overview of this creation signed Guillaume Chevrier (Slurmmackenzie) and Alfred Nilsson (Byvsen) who were contacted by Gemma Abdeen of Media Molecule to discuss the opportunity to create something with the famous license. Chevrier took care of the gameplay while Nilsson focused on animations.
Helped by members of Media Molecule especially for the special effects, the Franco-Swedish duo has developed a short experience of 60 seconds in which the player controls the proton beam in subjective view (the experience is playable in VR) and must Capturing as much ghost as possible by exhausting them (like a fishing game) and paying attention to the damage caused in the environment that will be deducted from the final score.
The players of Dreams will be able to try to beat the scores established by the film team, which do not all seem great regulars in the joystick, certainly. License under control obliges, this mini-game will be available for a limited period until February 28, 2022.
