Arcane creators can develop more programs in the Universe of League of Legends (Exclusive)

The creators of arcane, the new animated series of Netflix that takes place in the world of Lisa of legends, seem to be interested in creating additional shows within this universe. While Riot Games has not announced any series of television or future films associated with his former Mob, those that worked in arcane I have not tried to hide the fact that counting more stories in this world is something that the company wants to do more in the future.

Speaking with comicbook.com before the launch of arcane, co-creators and executive producers Christian Like and Alex Yes talked with us about the series and its creation. While recognizing that they focused mainly on the launch of arcane at this time, we also asked if Riot would like to work on more projects like this in the future. In summary, the duo of producers said it is definitely something in his mind.

I think the company has always wanted to allow players spend time with their champions, not in combat launches, and who understand who they are when they are out of the battlefield, Yes explained. And many people over time have really invested a lot of love and energy in making the world and the characters feel robust and three-dimensional. So I think that there is certainly the appetite to explore more than those stories. As you said, of course, we focus mainly on arcane and learn what we can from that at this time, but I think everyone would be very happy to share more stories in many types of media for other champions in other regions.

As mentioned, Riot has not announced anything about future programs, films or other projects that could be linked to legends. In fact, arcane itself is considered a series of events by Riot, which means that it will not end up having a second later season. Even so, the company as a whole has shown a greater initiative in recent years to expand the Lisa of legends IP at a fast pace. At this time, several derivative games, including an MMO and a fighting game associated with pajama, are in process in the study.
