The Sea Thieves event adds a boat and an event inspired by Borderlands

During today's Xbox Gamescom Showcase, Rare revealed a new Sea of ​​Thieves Crossed Event with Borderlands! As of today, players can get the Mayhem boat game by participating in the Making Mayhem limited time event. Making Mayhem will be available until September 7, so the players interested in getting this boat inspired by Pandora vaults may want to get on him quickly. During the event, players can earn parts of the Mayhem boat game by completing the Minor Mayhem challenges, as well as the Major Mayhem challenges for Larinna. Completing these challenges helps players win the favor of Bilge Rats, resulting in boats.

Borderlands It seems an unusual choice for a Sea of ​​Thieves Crossover, but Rare has done a good job by adding content that feels natural for the world of the game. Inspiration is clear, but it does not seem out of place, which can be a difficult needle to thread when it comes to cross content. Maybe this could even open the door to similar crosses in the future!

Of course, this summer has also seen Sea of ​​Thieves content based on the Caribbean pirate franchise of Disney, too! Pirates of the Caribbean seemed to fit better in the theme of the Xbox game, adding characters and elements inspired both in the attraction of the theme park as in live action movies. While the Mayhem event is a limited time option, the content-based content of the Caribbean is still available for those who have not yet played it.
