Dying Light 2 Stay Human: Parkour and combat system presented

Techland has streamed through the Gamescom Studio in collaboration with IGN the third episode of Dying 2 Know (D2K) - Gamescom Edition. This is part of a web series, which grants deep insights into the world of Dying Light 2 Stay Human.

Moderated by Lead Game Designer Tymon Smektała revealed the developer team a series of details about Parkour and combat system and presented a gameplay trailer. The full episode can be seen here:

The third episode illuminates the movement in the city, which is very dynamic thanks to complex parkour mechanics and realistic motion capture animations. Players also gain an insight into the combat system, which is an integral part of Dying Light 2 Stay Human, and which allows to integrate parkour moves into the fighting.

In addition, the episode provides a view of the usable in the weapons and shows what the developers have been inspired.

In addition, Techland presented the jury, which gives the best cosplays of Dying Light 2 characters in the UGC competition - Irina Meier, Lightning Cosplay, Narga & Aoki and Enji Night. Details on the competition, including the competitive conditions, can be found here.

Dying Light 2 Stay Human can be pre-ordered from now on. There are two physical versions: standard and deluxe, as well as three digital versions: standard, deluxe and ultimate. Techland also revealed a new platform publication for the Dying Light Platinum Edition, which will appear for Nintendo Switch and contains the most comprehensive edition of the original game. Further details about the date of publication will be announced at a later date.
